So can you believe it’s already February 2017?! Like where is the time going?? I feel like Christmas went by in a blur, and January? Is over. We’re already several days into February and I feel like I need to jump onto the time frame that the rest of the universe is on. It’s going and going and it’s about time I catch up with it, hang on for dear life and then get ahead of it. I’m ready to come out swinging instead of limping behind! So before throwing myself full speed ahead into the upcoming months, I thought I’d be fun to take some time to share with you guys what I have enjoyed using throughout the winter!
I read this cook book in January after my mom had been talking about it for months and I loved everything about it! The photos, the recipes, Helene’s attitude towards life are all uplifting and inviting! Moving to California is on my life to-do list, and reading this was so nice. I highly recommend!
Turtle neck sweaters have been a staple in my winter wardrobe. Actually, I’ve gotten all of my 7 turtle necks from Steinmart… my mom and I loooove Steinmart! And these 1980’s inspired earrings by RJ Graziano have been so much fun to wear! (I totally got these at Steinmart, too lol)
I’ve been trying to wear sunglasses more often because I think they look so chic and make any outfit instantly cool! They have def been a fav lately! Last but not least, modeling Talaya Jessie’s amazing pieces was such an honor and a really fun experience! Her designs are beautiful!
Taking pics with my mamacita is always my favorite ❤
Personal Care Favs:
Soapbox shampoo and conditioner make hair so soft, mom and I have been loving them for months and months! And about a month ago my mom and I found these Radius toothbrushes at Whole Foods and really like them! They are made in the USA, are phthalate free, latex free, BPA free, cruelty free, and a lot of other cool things! Mine is made from recycled paper and my mom got the recycled money one! (PS, I know my hand looks super weird lol)
And for my last fav, this Dr. Mercola argan oil is a skin and hair hero! I use it every single day, several times a day! After I wash my face I smear it all over and then bring it on down my neck. I run it through wet hair after showering, I use it on my lips, around my eyes… I really don’t know what I would do without it!
I hope you guys have been enjoying the winter and I hope you liked this post about a few of the things I’ve really been loving lately! Let me know in the comments what your favorite things have been the past few months, I’d love to hear from you! Thank you so much for reading!!
