Almond Butter, Banana and Chia Seed Half Sandwich

IMG_5249

Hey guys!

I wanted to share with you guys what I have for breakfast every morning! A lot of people are stumped on vegan breakfast ideas, me included in many ways, but this one has become my go-to because it’s so simple! It’s not really a recipe because there’s not any cooking, just heating up the bread and the assembly but it’s healthy, filling, comforting and quick so I thought I’d share it! I’m going to start making more breakfast recipes for my blog and I have several ideas in mind that I’m very excited for! I hope you guys are ready for some serious brekky inspo!

I eat my half sandwich every morning in my pajamas right before I start getting ready! I don’t toast my bread, I microwave it for 15 seconds so it’s soft and warm. I love that trick, it’s a good one to have up your sleeve!

What you’ll need:

-1 slice bread (I use Ezekiel Bread- my fav is the flax one)

-1 tablespoon almond butter (or nut/seed butter of your choice)

-1/2 banana

-1 teaspoon chia seeds

Instructions:

Start by preparing your bread. If your a toast person, toast your bread! If not, either microwave it or leave it cold! Any way works perfectly!

Next spread the almond butter (or butter of choice) over the bread. Sprinkle the chia seeds over the spread so they stick. Next slice your banana and plop it on top. And that’s it, super easy and so quick!
